Hey yall!
So I've been posting a lot; maybe I need to get a life, but whatever!
Even though I live the biggest city in the country, I am constantly amazed by how small things are in Catholicland, especially in relation to SMU! Numerous Dominican Sisters have told me that they have some relationship to SMU; two nuns I met out here even attended it back when it was St. Teresa's.
Another connection to SMU that all you PYM majors will appreciate: I was helping out a youth group the other day, and the lesson we were using was written by..........Mr. Brian Singer-Towns!!! I was like "he was one of my professors in college" and then I felt really cool! The Church in the Bronx subscribes to this online resource with premade lessons, and Mr. Singer-Towns writes for them occasionally! So thats that!
Happy New Year; hope all is well for anyone who reads this! I hope more people read and start using this blog, its pretty nifty!

Hi Lisa, nice to hear from you! It's -15 degrees here tonight. Classes are full, people are busy. Life is good.
Brian Singer-Towns does get around...I think he has edited half the books at St Mary's Press! When I see him, I'll mention he's on this blog through you.
BY the way, St Teresa's College was never part of SMU (until the defunct campus was bought by SMU a few years ago). I know a few St T's alums who would be quick to correct you on that!
Yes, we'd love to see more people using this too. Spread the word!
